Builder Day at Westchester Modular Homes
What could your building business take on if more of the construction process happened before your crew arrived on site? Builder Day at Westchester Modular Homes (WMH) gives builders a firsthand look at that possibility. Join us on Friday, October 2, for a factory tour, a look at our new model home, and a practical conversation about using modular construction on your own projects.
See the process for yourself
A factory tour offers a closer look at how a custom home takes shape in a controlled environment. You will see the people and production process behind the modules, then tour our new model homes to experience the finished result. Our team will also present the benefits of building modular and answer questions about how the factory and the local builder work together. As we are an employee-owned company, all of the staff you see working own the company, offering a sense of pride and responsibility and ensuring top quality.
We are also proud to share our latest model home, the Sedona, complete with a state-of-the-art design center where clients can visualize their new modular home. You’ll also be able to tour the Stockbridge, which is in progress, as well as one of our original model homes, the Mansfield.
Why builders consider modular
Modular construction allows factory work to move forward while site preparation and foundation work are underway. That overlap can help shorten the overall schedule, depending on the project. Building indoors also limits exposure to weather related damages and delays during factory construction and gives teams a consistent setting for inspections and quality checks.
A repeatable factory process can support more efficient material use and reduce waste on the job site. Modular building is inherently sustainable and our homes are extremely energy-efficient. For builders managing tight labor availability, shifting part of the work to the factory may also help free their field crews to focus on foundations, site work, installation and finishing. Every project has its own design, site, permitting and scheduling requirements, so Builder Day is a chance to discuss where this approach makes sense for your business.
Bring a project and your questions
The most useful conversations start with a real project. Bring a plan, a prospective job or an idea you are exploring, along with questions about design flexibility, timelines, the division of work between factory and builder, and what happens after delivery. Whether you are new to modular or have built this way before, the WMH team can help you think through the next steps.
Reserve your spot for Builder Day on October 2. Come tour the factory and model homes, meet the team, and explore how modular construction could help you take on more work without adding the same level of operational overhead.
